Employee Engagement & Retention
Course codeHRM-HRM-008
Duration5 days
LanguageEnglish or Arabic
Subject areaPeople, HR & Talent
Overview
Losing capable people is expensive, and disengaged staff who stay can cost even more. This employee engagement and retention course shows managers and HR professionals how to understand what drives commitment, measure engagement properly and act on the results. Organisations that listen to employees and respond visibly tend to keep their talent longer and see stronger performance, service quality and morale.
Participants learn to diagnose the drivers of engagement and turnover, design and use engagement surveys, conduct stay and exit interviews, build retention strategies for key groups and equip line managers to lead engaged teams. The programme suits HR business partners, managers and team leaders in companies and government bodies. Participants leave with practical tools and a retention action plan for their own team or organisation.
Who should attend
HR managers and business partners, talent and organisational development specialists, department heads, line managers and team leaders, and HR teams in ministries, municipalities and public bodies.
Training methodology
Interactive presentations, practical exercises, case studies, group discussions, role-plays where relevant, and a personal action plan that participants apply in their own work.
