Energy Efficiency & Energy Management

ENG-PWR-0035 daysEnglish or Arabic

Overview

Energy is one of the largest controllable costs in buildings, industrial plants and public utilities, and it is rising. Many sites still waste a significant share of their energy through poor control, inefficient equipment and habits that nobody measures. Rising tariffs, carbon targets and regulation are pushing organisations to manage energy as seriously as any other strategic resource or budget line.

This energy efficiency and energy management course shows how to find, prioritise and deliver real savings. Participants learn to measure where energy is used, carry out a structured energy audit and identify savings in lighting, HVAC, motors, pumps and processes. They evaluate projects using payback and life-cycle cost, and plan an energy management system aligned with ISO 50001.

Who should attend

Energy managers, facility and maintenance engineers, utility and municipal engineers, sustainability officers, and managers responsible for energy costs in buildings and industrial sites.

Training methodology

Interactive presentations, practical exercises, case studies, group discussions, role-plays where relevant, and a personal action plan that participants apply in their own work.

Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Explain energy use patterns, tariffs and energy performance indicators
  • Conduct a structured energy audit of a building or facility
  • Identify savings in lighting, HVAC, motors, pumps and processes
  • Evaluate projects using payback and life-cycle cost
  • Establish an energy management system aligned with ISO 50001
